Browner to Discuss Administration Actions to Clean Up and Protect the Nation’s Rivers, Lakes and Coastal Areas and to Ensure that American Families have Safe, Clean Drinking Water


U.S. EPA Administrator Carol M. Browner will deliver the keynote address at the Association of California Water Agencies 1998 Fall Conference Thursday, Dec. 3, at 7 p.m. on Clinton Administration actions to clean up and protect the nation’s rivers, lakes and coastal areas and to ensure that American families have safe, clean drinking water. Administrator Browner will also discuss specific challenges in California, including efforts to protect the California Bay Delta, and President Clinton’s announcement Thursday morning on significant new protections for the drinking water of 140 million Americans.
