PRESS ADVISORY: SECOND ANNUAL GEORGIA CHILDREN’S WATER FESTIVAL TO BE HELD IN ATLANTA, GEORGIA

In celebration of National Drinking Water Week, May 2-8, 1999, one school from the City of Atlanta and one from each of the following counties: Clayton, Cobb, Dekalb, Forsyth, Fulton, Gwinnett, and Walton will participate at the 2nd Annual Georgia Children’s Water Festival on April 27, 1999. The students will participate in activities designed to increase public awareness of the importance of safe drinking water.

WHO: GA Drinking Water Week Committee (EPA, Georgia Environmental Protection Division, Georgia Power, The University of Georgia Extension Service and a Coalition of Public Utilities and, water authorities).

WHAT: 2nd Annual GA Children's Water Festival.
