EDWARD KRENIK NAMED AS ASSOCIATE ADMINISTRATOR FOR
CONGRESSIONAL AND INTERGOVERNMENTAL AFFAIRS

Edward D. Krenik will be EPA’s new Associate Administrator for Congressional and Intergovernmental Affairs. He brings to the Agency over a decade of experience in working for several congressional members on Capitol Hill. From 1995 until coming to EPA, Krenik was the Legislative Staff Director/Appropriations Staff Associate for Congressman Rodney P. Frelinghuysen. In this capacity he advised the Congressman on all legislative issues and managed all thirteen subcommittees on the House Appropriations Committee with special emphasis on EPA, HUD, DOE, and the Defense Department. From 1991 to 1994, Krenik was the Appropriations Staff Associate for Congressman Dean A. Gallo. From 1989 to December 1994, under Congressman Gallo, Krenik worked as the Senior Legislative Assistant. From 1987 to 1989, Krenik worked as a Legislative Correspondent for Senator David Durenberger. Krenik graduated from the University of Minnesota with a Bachelor of Arts in History and Political Science in 1987.
