EPA Grant To Help Residents Use Safer Pest Control

(Washington, D.C. - May 4, 2007) An EPA grant will provide information to District of Columbia public housing residents at Potomac Gardens Apartments on how to reduce conditions that are conducive to cockroach and rodent infestations, and how to safely use effective pest control measures. The project also aims to reduce the amount of cockroach and mouse allergens in the home, which are known triggers of asthma.
