EPA Offers Informational Flyers in Spanish on Possible Environmental and Health Issues for Residents Returning to Hurricane Impacted Areas

     EPA is posting on the Agency's Hurricane Katrina Web site five informational flyers in Spanish on potential environmental and health issues in impacted areas. These flyers are being distributed in affected communities for Spanish-speaking residents returning home as part of EPA's ongoing Hispanic outreach efforts to help the Gulf Coast region recover.

    These informational flyers in Spanish highlight possible hazardous situations residents may encounter upon their return to impacted areas and during cleanup activities, such as:
· Returning to Homes and Businesses--All Hurricane Affected Residents
· Returning to Homes and Businesses--Louisiana Residents
· Mold--All Hurricane Affected Residents
· Wells--All Hurricane Affected Residents
· Drinking Water--Louisiana Residents

    These files are for use by the Hispanic media and general public.
