CHICAGO (June 16, 2008) - U.S. Environmental Protection Agency Region 5 will update Twin Cities media on its project to contain potential hazards from underground soil contamination in St. Louis Park, Minn., Tuesday, June 17, 11 a.m. to noon, at EPA's temporary office at 6528 W. Lake St., Ste. F.

EPA's project to install vapor-abatement systems at some homes in the area near Highway 7 and Wooddale Avenue will be winding down this week. An investigative effort will continue on a separate track.

Representatives from partner agencies will be available at the briefing. A map of the study area is at http://www.stlouispark.org.
