EPA to hold update session on radio materials site cleanup in Attica, Indiana

CHICAGO (Oct. 14, 2009) - U.S. Environmental Protection Agency Region 5 will hold a public meeting Tuesday, Oct. 13, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Attica Junior/Senior High School, 211 E. Sycamore St., to update the public on the status of EPA's vapor intrusion investigation and cleanup, installation and maintenance schedule for the drinking-water treatment system and long-term solutions for the ground water on the Radio Materials Corp. site. Representatives from the Agency for Toxic Disease Registry will be in attendance to answer health-related questions.
