EPA Fundamentals of Environmental Justice Training Course Postponed

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Region 4 announces the postponement of the Fundamentals of Environmental Justice Training Course originally scheduled for Saturday, August 28, 2004. The course was scheduled to be held at Westwood Presbyterian Church. The training course will be rescheduled in the near future, but no future date for the course has been arranged at this time.

The Fundamentals of Environmental Justice Course includes the following topics:

    • the definition of environmental justice;
    • the laws that pertain to environmental justice; and
    • the tools that are available for addressing environmental justice issues.
The course is sponsored by the Louisville Metro Air Pollution Control District, the Louisville Metro Emergency Management Agency, the West Jefferson County Community Task Force and EPA.
