BUY RECYCLED PRODUCTS SATELLITE FORUM
On Nov. 9, EPA will present a national satellite forum on buying recycled products from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. (EST). The forum, entitled “Buying Recycled: The Real Story About Cost, Availability and Quality” is a free, interactive program designed to provide governments, businesses and other organizations with insights on ways to purchase quality, competitively- priced recycled products. This forum is being presented in support of America Recycles Day by EPA’s WasteWise program and the Buy Recycled Business Alliance. Richard Keller, a nationally recognized trainer on buying recycled products with Maryland Environmental Services will be a featured speaker. Other speakers will include: Eric Nelson, Environmental Purchasing Coordinator for King County, Wash.; Bob Langert, Director of Public and Community Affairs for McDonald’s Corp.; and Susan McCloskey, President of Office Plan.
