EPA awards over $490,000 to the State of Texas to develop and maintain Water Quality Management Plan

(Dallas, Texas – August 21, 2007) The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency recently awarded $494,128 to the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality. TCEQ will use this grant to develop and maintain the state’s Water Quality Management Plan. TCEQ will also review various permits and projects for conformance with the state’s plan and develop and administer contracts to designated planning agencies.
