EPA Honors Two Employees From South Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA -- The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency has presented bronze medals for superior service to two employees.

Carol Febbo of South Philadelphia was recognized for her contribution in developing innovative  techniques for investigating pulp mills.  Febbo is a communications coordinator with the Air Protection Division.  She has been an EPA employee for 20 years.

Anthony Santini, also of South Philadelphia, was honored for helping develop an innovative employee recruitment program.  Santini a personnel management specialist, has worked for six years at EPA.

"These employees recognized deserve applause for their hard work.  Thanks to them, the mid-Atlantic Region is a cleaner, safer place to live," said W. Michael McCabe, EPA mid-Atlantic regional administrator.
