EPA MAKES AVAILABLE TWO NEW DRINKING WATER PUBLICATIONS
EPA recently made available two new drinking water publications. The first publication is entitled, “Water on Tap: A Consumer’s Guide to the Nation’s Drinking Water.” The publication explains the nation’s drinking water program and how EPA and the states regulate it. The second publication is entitled, “The Safe Drinking Water Act: One Year Later.” It explains EPA’s progress in implementing the l996 amendments to the Safe Drinking Water Act. Both are available through EPA’s Safe Drinking Water Hotline at 1-800-426-4791.
