SUNDAY: EPA Chief to Speak at Brown Chapel as a Part of 12th Congressional Civil Rights Pilgrimage Events

(ATLANTA – March 2, 2012) On Sunday, March 4, U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Administrator and Obama cabinet member Lisa P. Jackson will speak to attendees at Brown Chapel in Selma, AL as a part of Faith & Politics’ 12th Congressional Civil Rights Pilgrimage events. While in Selma, Administrator Jackson will also visit the Voting Rights Museum and participate in a re-enactment of the nearly 2-mile march from Brown Chapel across the Edmund Pettus Bridge that took place in 1965.

The 12th Congressional Civil Rights Pilgrimage will take place from March 2-4 and includes more than 20 Members of Congress, Civil Rights luminaries and noted scholars and leaders.
