Note to public service directors: Earth Day PSAs available on EPA web site

CHICAGO (Apr. 10, 2008) - U.S. Environmental Protection Agency Region 5 has produced two 30 second radio public service announcements that are now available on EPA's Web site: https://www.epa.gov/region5/earthday/audio.htm The announcements ask listeners to join EPA's Great Lakes Earth Day 2008 Challenge and protect the Great Lakes by safely disposing of unwanted medicines and recycling outdated electronics such as cell phones, MP3 players and computers. The goal of the challenge is to collect 1 million pounds of e-waste and 1 million pills between April 19 and 27.
