EPA Employee Honored for Superior Service

PHILADELPHIA -- The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency presented a silver medal to Don Niehus for his participation in creating a major new drinking water infrastructure program.  

Niehus, who lives in Voorhees, N.J., is an environmental specialist and team leader with the Water Protection Division.  He has worked at the EPA for 21 years.

"Niehus was an important member of the drinking water state revolving fund team. Thanks to his efforts, states will improve compliance and better protect human health,"  said W. Michael McCabe, EPA mid-Atlantic regional administrator.
