The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency is releasing its annual report on the volume of toxic chemicals released into the environment during 1996. EPA Assistant Administrator for Prevention, Pesticides and Toxic Substances Dr. Lynn Goldman will discuss pollution trends highlighted in the 1996 report and other recent initiatives taken to broaden EPA’s toxic chemical right-to-know program.
