North Laurel Street Road Work Changes School Bus Route

HAZELTON, Pa. – In anticipation of school starting next week, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency wanted to make parents aware that the Hazleton School District students who normally board school buses on North Laurel Street between 14th and 22nd Streets are being asked by the Hazleton Area School District to get on buses that will be rerouted to Wyoming Street.

This change is due to street work being performed by the City of Hazleton and the United States Environmental Protection Agency. The City of Hazelton is working in on North Laurel Street from 14th to 20th Streets and EPA is working on the 20th to the 22nd block. EPA anticipates their work will continue throughout September.
