Browner to Outline Clinton Administration Actions to Build
Livable Communities Into the 21st Century
Livable Communities Into the 21st Century
U.S. EPA Administrator Carol M. Browner will address Boston’s Ford Hall Forum on Wednesday, April 28, at noon on Clinton Administration efforts to build livable communities into the 21st Century. Browner will discuss the new Livability Agenda, announced by the President in his State of the Union Address, which provides innovative tools and resources to help communities grow in ways that ensure a high quality of life and strong, sustainable economic growth. Browner will also discuss the importance of partnerships between government, industry and the public in meeting the challenges of maintaining clean air, healthy water and safe land as communities, cities and suburbs expand.
The Ford Hall Forum is the nation's oldest public lecture series and is a voluntary assembly of citizens from a variety of backgrounds, including local governments, businesses and the public health community, who come together for the purpose of exploring matters of public concern.
