WASHINGTON - Tomorrow, EPA Administrator Gina McCarthy will join the Wall Street Journal's ECO:nomics conference for an interview with Editor in Chief Gerard Baker on the economic need for acting on climate change. Administrator McCarthy will speak about the cost of inaction and how we can turn our climate challenge into an opportunity to modernize our power sector, lay the foundation for a low-carbon economy, and fuel growth for decades to come. A world-leading economy depends on a healthy environment and a safe climate, which is why EPA is working to implement President Obama's Climate Action Plan to build more resilient communities and curb the carbon pollution fueling climate change.
