MONDAY: EPA Administrator Joins Senior Administration Officials at White House for Climate and Health Event

WASHINGTON- On Monday, EPA Administrator Gina McCarthy will join senior Obama Administration officials and representatives from the public and private sectors at the White House for a climate and health announcement from the U.S. Global Change Research Program.

Climate change poses a significant threat to the health of the American people. As the climate continues to change, the risks to human health will grow, exacerbating existing health threats and creating new public health challenges. From children to the elderly, every American is vulnerable to the health impacts associated with climate change, now and in the future.

WHEN: Monday, April 4, 2 p.m. EST

Washington, D.C.

WHO: EPA Administrator Gina McCarthy and senior Obama Administration officials and representatives from the public and private sectors
