Chicago (Oct. 6, 2015) - Starting the week of October 12, Harper Avenue in St. Clair Shores, Mich., will be closed in both directions between Lakeland and Bon Brae for four weeks to allow the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency to remove a pipe containing PCB-contaminated oil.

Road closure notices will be posted at 10-Mile and 11-Mile Roads.

Recently, EPA observed contaminated oil flowing from a pipe under Harper Avenue during the Agency's ongoing cleanup of the Ten Mile drain storm water system.
