FRIDAY: EPA Administrator Visiting Notre Dame to Discuss Moral Obligation for Climate Action
WASHINGTON - On Friday, EPA Administrator Gina McCarthy will visit Notre Dame to speak about the need for action on behalf of those who bear the brunt of the effects of climate change and the steps the U.S. is taking to meet that challenge. McCarthy will lead a discussion with students and faculty on protecting public health by sparking innovations in a clean energy economy. This will be followed by a press conference with President Father John Jenkins on various environmental and sustainability topics, as well as Notre Dame's recent commitment to cut its carbon footprint.
