EPA to Hold November 17 Open House and Public Meeting on PCB Contamination Cleanup at Ten-Mile Drain

(CHICAGO – November 8, 2016) -- U.S. Environmental Protection Agency will hold an open house and a public meeting on Thursday, Nov. 17, to discuss recent cleanup activities and next steps at the Ten-Mile Drain site. EPA has been addressing polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs) in an underground storm sewer drain system at the site. Over the past 10 years, EPA has completed site investigations, extensive cleanup and worked with residents regarding concerns.

Representatives from Michigan Department of Environmental Quality and Michigan Department of Health and Human Services will also be available to respond to questions.
