The Clean Water Rule published on June 29, 2015 in the Federal Register (80 FR 37054). The final rule became effective on August 28, 2015. Click here for EPA and the Department of Army's statement on the relevance of recent court rulings.This document gives as an example the regulatory text at 40 CFR 230.3 under the rule. As described in the preamble, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency make similar changes in the final Clean Water Rule at 33 CFR 328.3 and 40 CFR 110.1, 112.2, 116.3, 117.1, 122.2, 232.2, 300.5, part 300 App. E, 302.3 and 401.11.
