On May 16, 2012, EPA held its Quarterly Environmental Justice Community Outreach Call and provided an update on Plan EJ 2014 and EJ screening tools development, the Agency's Environmental Justice strategy, and the Agency's community-based grants program. Issues discussed during the question and answer period included permitting decisions, environmental impact on surrounding communities, and community coalition activities.
