On January 19, 2012, EPA held its Quarterly Environmental Justice Community Outreach Call, providing an update on its activities under Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and discussing activities related to sewage sludge or biosolids land application. Issues addressed during the question and answer period included improving communication and outreach to tribal communities, Title VI issues, sewage, and implementation of provisions of the air and water regulatory programs.
