        Process_Description:  
	The streams dataset (USGS RF3) and the roads dataset (USGS DLG, Class 1-4 roads) were first transformed into a raster environment using the LINEGRID command with a resolution of 30 meters.  These two grids were joined using the COMBINE command. After the grids were combined, INFO was used to summarize the total number of pixels where roads were within 30 meters of a stream.  The proportion of streams was then calculated as ( STXRD / STREAMLENGTH ) * 100, where streamlength is the total length of streams in a given HUC.  Proportions were calculated based on number of pixels, not length in meters.
