Bolded state listing codes or presence (+) codes indicate which states have the species in savanna habitats. Federal codes are C2=category 2, C3=category 3. The Nature Conservancy global ranks that follow are: G3, G3G4, G5 The state codes are EX= presumed extirpated, E=endangered, T=threatened, R=rare, SC=special concern, SU= status unknown, and WL=watch list. Range limits were identified from primarily Gleason and Cronquist (1990) to identify geographical affinities.
