The use of these interactive maps is not recommended for dial-up connections. The following are recommendations for optimal map performance.
- Step 1. Use the "zoom tool"
to
click and drag to draw a box around the geographic area of interest.
- Step 2. Check the square check box
next to the type of risk you are interested in viewing. This makes that risk category visible.
- Step 3. Click on the round radio button or circle
next to the type of risk you are interested in exploring background data for. This makes that risk category "active" and all subsequent toolbar operations will be performed on the "active" layer.
- Step 4. Click on the "refresh map"
button. The risk category you selected will now appear on the map and any functions you attempt using the tool bar will be performed on the risk category you made active using the radio button.
- Step 5. Un-check and check box and radio buttons next to that risk category and check the ones next to another risk category to view a different category.
