Mr. Vandegrift has been the Quality Assurance Manager (QAM) for GWERD since 1998. He has worked at the Robert S. Kerr Environmental Research Center since 1986. He holds a B.S. in Environmental Science from Washington State University and an M.S. in Environmental Science from the University of Oklahoma.
Previously, he worked as an analytical chemist and supervisor for the ManTech Environmental Research Services Corporation at the Kerr Center. As the Analytical Group Supervisor for ManTech, he was responsible for overseeing the work of approximately 20 analysts performing both laboratory and field work in support of research conducted by GWERD. Prior to ManTech, he was the laboratory director for a private environmental laboratory.
Mr. Vandegrift has over 30 years’ experience working in environmental analytical laboratories, where his specialty was gas chromatography with an emphasis on volatile organics and dissolved gases.
