Randall R. Ross
Dr. Ross is a hydrologist in GWERD’s Applied Research & Technical Support Branch. He has B.S. and M.S. degrees in Geology from Oklahoma State University, Stillwater, Oklahoma, and a Ph.D. in Environmental Science from the University of Oklahoma, Norman, Oklahoma.
For over two decades, Dr. Ross has provided both site-specific technical support and technology transfer assistance to EPA’s regional and headquarters offices in the areas of subsurface characterization, groundwater flow, contaminant transport and fate processes, and subsurface remediation.
Dr. Ross’s research areas are permeable reactive barriers and water quality and availability. He has been involved in evaluations of the hydraulic performance of permeable reactive barriers in different hydrogeologic settings. His interests include innovative characterization techniques for the effects of heterogeneity on subsurface processes and remedial design.
