Mary Sue McNeil
Ms. McNeil has been the GWERD Generalist/Management Analyst since 2009. In this position, Ms. McNeil serves as a Senior Advisor to GWERD management regarding budgetary functions, human resources, and extramural functions. She is also the Project Officer for the ORD Resident Research Associateship (RRA) Program, a cooperative agreement between ORD and the National Research Council. She has worked for EPA at the Robert S. Kerr Environmental Research Center since 1998. She holds a B.S. in Mathematics from East Central University and an M.S. in Environmental Science from the University of Oklahoma.
Previously, Ms. McNeil worked as a Program Analyst. In this position, Ms. McNeil served as the Project Officer for the following extramural vehicles: GWERD On-Site Analytical Contract, RRA Post-Doctoral Program, GWERD Library Support Contract, and the Environmental Research Apprenticeship Program. In addition to these duties, Ms. McNeil served as the coordinator for the SEE Program, and has served on various committees.
Prior to transitioning to the TASS/IO, Ms. McNeil worked in the Subsurface Remediation Branch as an Environmental Scientist. Her interest included subsurface remediation using permeable reactive barrier technologies.
