EPA Demonstrates Innovative Graffiti Removal Products in San Francisco

In November 2013 the Environmental Protection Agency demonstrated a series of new graffiti removers safe for the environment and worker health, at Agua Vista Park in San Francisco, Calif.  The graffiti removers are the outcome of a $75,000 EPA pollution prevention grant awarded to the Los Angeles, Calif.-based Institute for Research and Technical Assistance (IRTA).  Testing and development of the removers was done through partnerships between IRTA and a number of San Francisco city and Bay Area government agencies.
